Weld Testing

Anderson Laboratories has a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) who oversees all aspects of weld qualification testing. Along with a NDE Level III technician, they coordinate all welding efforts pertaining to WPS, PQR, and WPQ creation and certification. We follow and comply with AWS, ASME, ASTM, NAVSEA, EN as well as many other welding codes. We are familiar with supplemental testing requirements such as metallography, hardness traverses, impact testing and evaluation of the base, weld, and HAZ locations. We routinely test weld plates up to 8" in thickness.
